Face of Nkporo is an annual beauty pageant that is hosted in Nkporo, a community in Ohafia LGA , Abia State.
Its aim and objectives are to discover beautiful, intelligent, and responsible maidens who represent the community for a period of 12 months whilst carrying out various community development projects ranging from Healthcare, Education, Health awareness campaigns, and Street to school , all these programs are aimed at encouraging the youths to remain committed to community growth and advancement!
This beauty pageant hosts beautiful girls from Nkporo after a series of screenings and thorough preparation from the organizers who have been running this event for some years now. Season 6 was a blast, these girls demonstrated Nkporo culture, heritage, and the spirit behind who we are as a people. The organizers of these events have been steadfast in making sure that only the best emerge without favoring anyone. As usual, there are lots of consolation prizes from the organizer to the most beautiful girl even to the third runner-up. This year’s event had the winner go home with a cash amount of One million and five hundred thousand naira, the first runner-up won one million naira only, the second runner-up won seven hundred and fifty thousand naira and while the third runner-up won five hundred naira only.
