He started his educational pursuits at Nkporo, where he had his  Primary and secondary Education, he obtained his BSc and DPA from the Lagos State University and the University of Calabar. He Obtained a Certificate in Quality and Quantity Loss Control of Petroleum from the University of Texas at Austin, USA. He is married to Mrs Ada Ude Mba, the marriage is blessed with four sons.
He started his career as a petroleum tally Clerk at Nicole’s Onne and Port Harcourt Refinery, Eleme, and later joined SGS Inspection, where he rose to the position of Manager, Oil and Gas Department, before joining another Company, Aiteo Oil Exploration and Production.
He is presently occupying the position of group head in the Quality and Quantity Control Department. A devoted Christian, Philanthropist, and has helped many Nkporo indigene to secure a job in the oil and gas industry, a pioneer of the cargo surveying Career path in Nkporo. An accomplished HSE professional with a track record of excellence that has spanned the services and oil exploration sectors of the Nigerian oil and gas industry. He has received many awards at home and abroad and in different fora. Apart from building an excellent career in oil and gas, He is also striving to live his life with eternity in view. And therefore thankful to the committee for remembering him and sees it as encouragement as we continue to do more in this transient journey of life.
